The sunrise swim is an annual event organised by Bright Tights, a Guernsey charity who emotionally and financially supports people affected by gynaecological cancer.
Swimmers braved the cold sea water in the early morning at La Valette Bathing Pools, donning their bathing suits and colourful tights, all to raise funds for the charity.
The first sunrise swim launched in 2022. I photographed the 2nd Sunrise Swim in 2024 which was delayed due to Storm Ciaran hitting the Channel Islands in 2023, postponing the event.
